In addition to my role as the e-commerce lead, I also took on responsibilities in different positions. I carried out initiatives aimed at increasing team efficiency and had the opportunity to work across many areas, from logistics to accounting. During this period, I significantly developed my management consulting skills. After returning to Turkiye, I continued to provide support as a remote e-commerce consultant.

Ni-based Single-Crystal Superalloy Researcher, Teaching Assistant

University of Oxford, Department of Engineering Science

2020-2023

I carried out my MSc by Research project on the yield anomaly of nickel-based single-crystal superalloys with material support from Siemens Energy. I gained extensive experience in designing and conducting experiments under high-temperature conditions. I specialized in surface characterization techniques such as scanning electron microscopy, optical profilometry, and similar methods; additionally, I designed and performed experiments inside an electron microscope. Alongside this, I worked as a teaching assistant in the Departments of Materials and Engineering Science at the University of Oxford, supporting students in courses such as Materials Laboratory, Mechanical CAD, Turbomachinery CAD, and Drawing & Design. Moreover, I participated in the University of Oxford’s applied Researcher Strategy Consultancy training, where I gained hands-on experience as a strategy consultant.

2018-2019

I graduated with distinction. I completed courses in Turbomachinery Mechanical Design, Turbomachinery and Blade Cooling, Gas Turbine Performance Simulation and Maintenance, Combustion Chambers, Engine Systems, Propulsion Systems Performance and Integration, Technology Management, and Computational Fluid Dynamics. I carried out my thesis in collaboration with Rolls-Royce UTC and presented my findings to senior engineers at the company.
